Yoshioka Hot Springs have a legend that it has been curing malignant diseases and Tottori Domain lord Ikeda frequently visited Yoshioka for hot-spring cure during the Edo period. Its history and tradition are in progress. You can see wooden Japanese inns here and there and taste the local food such as catfish caught in Koyama Pond. Shikano Hot Springs

This hot springs resort surrounded by forests and rice fields is also a castle town built by Korenori Kamei, the lord of Shikano Castle during the Sengoku Period. Iwai Hot Springs

This is the oldest hot springs resort in San’in (Tottori & Shimane Prefectures) with the creditable 1300 years of history. There remains a rare convention where people taking a bath pour hot spring water on their heads to warm themselves from deep inside of the bodies, singing "Yukamuri-uta (Song of pouring hot water)". The street where Japanese style inn similar to old Japanese remind the visitors of the good and old days of Japan.
