Wakasa Town Summer Fireworks Festival (Saturday Festival)
Venue: Wakasa Station, Ekimae Hiroba
This is a summer festival held every July at Wakasa Station’s Ekimae Hiroba. It is a lively and busy event that includes not only a fireworks display, but also food stalls, games, stage performances, and other attractions.
On the day of the event, a steam locomotive is lit up inside Wakasa Station. Since the fireworks are launched from a location very close to the venue, visitors can see up-close the impressive sight of the illuminated steam locomotive and the large-scale fireworks competing to take center stage in the sky. Many photographers visit yearly to capture this moment. Do not miss out on this special experience!
