The site has also been designated as a national historic site. This unique mountain castle has an unusual form comprising multiple layers of stone walls built along the slope of a mountain. It continues to be preserved today as a cherished site that symbolizes the beautiful landscape and history of Tottori City.


The castle ruins are illuminated at night throughout the year.
