VISIT TOTTORI CITY

This is a gourmet event held every September at Kasumi West Port in northern Hyogo Prefecture, coinciding with the start of the crabbing season. Enjoy freshly-caught local specialty crab that is available at the event before anywhere else. Kasumi crab refers to the red snow crab caught at Kasumi Port. It is characterized by its vibrant red color, sweet flesh, and melt-in-your-mouth texture.

In addition to fresh Kasumi crab, local seafood, agricultural products, and various specialty items are also on sale. Unique events are also held to give the public the opportunity to experience the atmosphere of an auction, which is usually only attended by professional wholesalers. It is a lively festival, filled with the high-spirited shouts of the auctioneers.
