1) Sakyu Center "Miharashi no Oka"

Sakyu Center is a convenient location that serves as a tourist hub for the Tottori Sand Dunes area. It is also the departure point for the sightseeing lift.

There is a viewing terrace here that offers sweeping views of the sand dunes, as well as a restaurant, gift shop, and retail stores offering a wide variety of goods.

This confectionery is made with “Sakyu Coffee,” a blend of coffee beans roasted at high temperatures using sand from the Tottori Sand Dunes. The coffee beans are mixed in with the tart dough to create the lovely aroma that characterizes the delicious flavor of this treat.
This adorable caramel cake, shaped like an egg, is popular with everyone from children to grownups! The dough is made with milk from Tottori Prefecture and goes perfectly with the caramel-flavored filling.

2) Tottori Sakyu-kaikan

This drive-in facility is located closest to the main entrance to the Tottori Sand Dunes. The gift corner attached to the restaurant on the first floor carries an exciting range of gifts from various parts of Tottori, as well as original sand dune merchandise. It is an addictive flavor that will keep bringing you back for more.
This is an adorable rabbit-shaped baked manju (traditional bun with a sweet filling). The smooth, moist dough coupled with the refined sweetness of the filling make it a popular sweet, with a flavor loved by everyone from children to the elderly.

3) Tottori Sand Dunes Rakudaya

Rakudaya is located near the main entrance of Tottori Sand Dunes.

As its name (“rakuda” is the Japanese word for “camel”) suggests, it sells a wide variety of camel-related goods. It also offers an extensive selection of items unique to Tottori, including pear soft-serve ice cream and other local specialties, local sake, and sweets.

Totto PURIN is a pudding specialty shop located right in front of the Tottori Sand Dunes. It is a noteworthy local pudding shop, and its product has been selected as the best pudding in Japan in a national local pudding ranking. This pudding ranked first in the local pudding rankings. Inspired by the Tottori Sand Dunes, the liquid caramel usually found at the bottom of the pudding has been replaced with powdered caramel that resembles the sand in the sand dunes. This innovative pudding, topped with powdered caramel, has a crunchy texture that is addictively delicious.
This pudding is made with seaweed salt from the Sea of Japan, produced in Tottori Prefecture, and achieves a harmonious balance of saltiness, sweetness, and bitterness. A characteristic of this pudding is the placement of the homemade caramel at the top of the pudding, allowing you to enjoy the aroma of the caramel first.
Only the finest butter is used to create the superbly crisp texture of the sables. Made with high-quality ingredients, the tin contains richly flavored matcha sables and fragrant vanilla sables. 5) The Sand Museum Shop

This is the gift shop attached to The Sand Museum. It is filled with a wide range of items, including merchandise related to the Tottori Sand Dunes, original gifts, and local specialties such as “Sakyu Rakkyo” (shallots from the sand dunes) harvested from the nearby town of Fukube.

The surface of the chocolate is sprinkled with kinako (roasted soybean flour) to create the appearance of sand, while the inside is Japanese-style chocolate mixed with sesame seeds to resemble sand. Both the appearance and texture of this confectionery evoke the image of sand.
This is a new type of cookie that takes inspiration from the sand of Tottori Sand Dunes, topped with a sprinkling of powder made from a blend of several types of sugar. There are two types of packaging depicting the sand dunes in the day (white/wasanbon sugar) and in the night (black/ginger).
Each pack of jelly contains one and a half "20th Century pears,” a specialty of Tottori. It is a rich pear jelly that retains a refreshing aftertaste, perfect for quenching your thirst after walking on the sand dunes.

These sweet and sour pickled Japanese shallots are made using shallots cultivated by local farmers near the sand dunes. They come in three sizes: 50 g, 250 g, and 800 g. Japanese shallot is said to be good for your health, so do give these a try.
This original coffee comes from a long-established coffee shop located in Koyama-cho, Tottori City. Made from carefully selected coffee beans, it is available in various forms including beans, ground coffee, and drip-style coffee. It is popular among customers for its rich flavor.
There is a section in the shop featuring BREW LAB KURAYOSHI, a craft beer brewery located in the Shirakabe Warehouses district, a well-known tourist attraction in Tottori Prefecture. You can also enjoy their popular classic beers in the shop.
