Uradome Coast

Experience the natural beauty and dynamic scenery of the Sea of Japan

Uradome Coast, which spans approximately 15 km east-west along the eastern tip of Tottori Prefecture, is a rias coastline that features dynamic scenery composed of sheer cliffs, sea arches and caves, and interesting rock formations.

From the approximately 3 km-long promenade, enjoy a panoramic view of the crystal-clear, beautiful sea. The contrast between the cobalt-blue sea, white sand, and lush green pine trees creates a scene that looks just like a painting. The sunset, viewed from the area near the Shirawara Coast, is particularly breathtaking and well worth a visit.

Sightseeing boats are available and offer a variety of experiences, including a leisurely cruise with the captain's lively commentary, or a ride through narrow water channels on a small boat. On the glass-bottomed boats, you may even encounter fish swimming in the water. For those seeking a more active experience, trekking and canoe tours are also recommended.

Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Uradome Coast and enjoy the majestic scenery to your heart's content.
