Crab Aquarium Kanikkokan

You can see many creatures including Matsuba Crab and the world’s largest crab "the Japanese spider crab" and so on closely here. You can also touch some creatures in the special fish tanks directly. Special events are sometimes held on Sunday or national holidays.

Access 30 minutes by bus going to Karo or 51 minutes by Loop Kirinjishi Bus (available only on Sat., Sun., and national holidays) from Tottori Station Bus Terminal. The nearest bus stop is "Kanikkokan-mae". 1 minute walk from the stop.

Inaba Manyou Historical Museum

Inaba Manyou Historical Museum

This is the museum introducing the poets related with Kokufu Town including a famous poet and noble Otomo no Yakamochi as well as the history and culture of Inaba region. The museum has a beautiful courtyard, on which about 50 types of flowers that appear in Manyoshu, the oldest existing collection of Japanese poetry, are planted.

Fee 300yen for adults whose age is less than 65. No charge for the persons over 64 as well as the children who have not graduated from high schools.
