The Tottori castle is famous for Hideyoshi Toyotomi's starving strategy. At present, there still remains a castle tower, Ninomaru ruins, etc. The surrounding land was turned into Kyusho Park, and offers relaxation to Tottori citizens. It becomes a famous cherry tree-viewing spot in spring, and after that, in the open ground at the foot of Mt. Kyushozan, Azaleas reach full bloom. It is an officially-designated historical site.
